Though having been a photographer for many years, it was only in 2005 that I branched out into this more creative form of photography...photo-art - the catalyst being the switch from film to digital.
It’s like sprouting wings and flying…the freedom of digital is what has made it possible for me to move in this direction. Nature, particularly, is a great inspiration and my intention is to creatively express the sense of the Spirit in nature in fresh and appealing ways.
It is worth mentioning also that I have a lot of my work as non-electronic negatives, transparencies and photos (excluding the whole folder of negatives that was lost in the move from one house to another!), so it will take me time to build up my electronic files.
