Founded on the teachings of Sri Chinmoy, Sahayak's daily meditation practice is at the core of his active life. Sitting quietly early each morning he focuses on the silent and peaceful rhythm of the breath. In this period of concentrated stillness he opens himself to the profound stillness and peace of the heart.
Holding this deepest awareness, life is experienced in the unfolding beauty of the present. Holding this awareness the individual consciously interacts with the world with enhanced purpose, clarity, wisdom and compassion. In this awakened way individuals can open-heartedly offer their skills or capacities through their goodwill, for their continued growth and for the raising of the collective consciousness. Within this personal freedom, life unfolds with spontaneity... willingly, energetically and selflessly. Guidance for meditation and relaxation
Sahayak has been a student of meditation teacher Sri Chinmoy since 1994. He teaches meditation techniques as recommended by Sri Chinmoy as a practical tool for those seeking happiness, contentment and a healthier, stress-free life. Sahayak offers both his meditative experience and the example of his own life, in which the benefits of these practices have transformed his own mind, outlook and quality of life to one of profound peace and happiness.
In 2004 Sahayak compiled, co-designed and had published a selection of 300 inspiring aphorisms from the vast collection of Sri Chinmoy's writings - Sri Chinmoy's Heart-Garden. This best selling hardcover giftbook is available from Barnes & Noble and Amazon.com and has been translated into a number of different languages. meditation
